Hi Repacked,

It’s the morning of January 1st, 2015 as I write this and I hope everyone had a great New Year’s Eve/New Year celebration. My best wishes goes to you all and your families for 2015. With that in-mind, my question is about another new year.

Lunar New Year 2015 is on February 19th and that’s when The Year of the Goat will start. Just recently in-hand reports of Transformers Platinum Edition Year of the Goat Soundwave came out and lots are hating on him. I don’t dislike him but it’s definitely something I won’t spend my money on and that goes for the Optimus Prime too. If you had a chance to pitch your own Transformers Year of the Goat exclusive to Hasbro Asia, what would it be? Specify the mold, character and color scheme plus modifications to the mold that you’d like to do.
Good luck with the year ahead. Thanks!

Eugene de Guzman

Hello there, Adult Mutant Repack Collectors.
Here´s a question that i have been wondering about instead of doing something productive: have you ever actively avoided a toyline/franchise because you know that if you get into it even a little bit you are going to end up sinking a lot of money/time into it and you simply cannot afford yet another expensive hobby?
And because old habits Die Hard…

BONUS CRACK QUESTION: If you could imprint your child/children with the personality of one of your toys (like say, having a son/daughter with the personality and mannerisms of Optimus Prime ), which one would it be and why? If you don’t have children feel free make one up with whatever gender and name you want. If you already have children, you can use one of them or you can make up a new child who is presumably faster, stronger and less expensive-er than any of your current ones.

Hello Repacked Podcast Crew! My name is Gianni and I have been a listener since the Fwooshcast Days but this is my first time writing in. I am 16 years old and have been collecting pretty much my whole life. I had a thought and wanted to hear your guys opinions on it. I listen to podcasts (like yours for example) and follow toy reviewers because I like to hear the opinions of the fans who have been in the collecting community longer than me. However I don’t hear others around my age on podcasts or forums barely at all. I know some older collectors probably think collectors my age are annoying Michael Bay Transformers lovers thinking that was our G1 and we don’t know quality. However, that is not really the case but I have heard in some places collectors and fans talk like that about the newer wave of collectors around my age and a little older. I would love to talk Kamen Rider Figuarts and Transformers with others and get their opinions like you guys do on your show, but I feel some are hesitant to talk in these places because of the select older fans and collectors neglecting their opinions before even hearing them. So my main question is have you had any interaction with younger fans online or anywhere and if you have, what was the experience like? And were they the supposedly intolerable young collectors some older fans consider us to be? Also i’m not calling every older collector angry as a lot of the community is fun to listen to which is why I enjoy this show so much. Sorry for the long question but thanks for reading it and I plan to write in more often. Keep up the great discussions!
